The CB&Q, Omaha Division features the Burlington's mainline from Kansas City to Omaha.  This HO-scale railroad occupies a space of 22 by 40 feet, depicting the CB&Q ub 1962 as it follows the Missouri River north to Omaha.  Eighteen trains are run, mainly merchandise freight and coal, with locals in each direction, CGW run-throughs and interchange with the Dakota Southern.  Dispatching is by CTC and the railroad is fully signalled.  A crew of 8 includes a dispatcher, 2 yardmasters, industrial switch job and 4 road crews.  Radio communication and CTC-80 carrier control.  The Oak Creek operator is a highly sought position for those who enjoy industrial switching.
