The Butte Division focuses on all the Great Northern operations between Butte and Shelby Montana, with lines that go to Havre and Billings.  Mainly Merchandise freight trains are run with locals each way out of Great Falls.  First and Second class passenger trains are also run in each direction.  The GM&S is an ore road that interchanges with the GN at Marias.  The Northern Pacific has its own yard at Helena and interchanges with the GN there.  Freight and passenger are run on the NP.
