Litzmas 2000 (Millhauser Avalanche)

Soon after Litzmas 1999 was over, I quickly found another project that would result in nearly the correct number of puzzles for Litzmas 2000. Cathy Millhauser is a favorite of the NYT's puzzle forum and deservedly so. Her punny puzzles strike just the right balance between too easy and too difficult to figure out while still being incredibly funny. It just so happens she had eleven Sunday puzzles published before the advent of online puzzles. All I needed to do was throw in a daily puzzle and I had twelve surefire gifts of joy for the Cru.  Here are the puzzles (available in a zip file) from Litzmas 2000:

  1. Add A Syllable (March 29, 1996) - daily, all others are Sunday puzzles
  2. All The Rage (Jan 26, 1992)
  3. Newspaper Caper (Dec 12, 1993)
  4. Eland (Feb 13, 1994)
  5. Good Riddance (July 17, 1994)
  6. What's "Ailing" You? (Oct 23, 1994)
  7. Klutz (April 9, 1995)
  8. From Stove to Votes (Aug 20, 1995)
  9. Candyland (Nov 19, 1995)
  10. Listen Cloze-ly (Jan 14, 1996)
  11. Questions For The Pharmacist (April 7, 1996)
  12. M-M-M(Sep 22, 1996)

The bonus puzzle is called Noels by Patterson Pepple appeared on Dec 22, 1985.
