Michael Pikelny is a big fan of Elizabeth Gorski's puzzles and why not? Liz is quite versatile and creates puzzles for nearly all solver's abilities. Case in point, she was the only constructor in the year 2000 to have a puzzle published each day of the week in the New York Times. She topped it off by winning the 2000 Puzzle of the Year for her December 31st NYT puzzle called "Making A Face". She continued her award-winning puzzle construction by winning the 2001 Sunday NYT Puzzle of the year for her December 30th NYT puzzle called "Dropping the Ball." In this era of more and more specialists, thankfully she seems to pride herself in being a professional generalist.
