The quilting bug hit me in 1983. I found that the feel of a needle passing through fabric was very soothing. I have created many quilts and enjoy giving them as gifts and entering them into quilt shows. I admire both hand and machine work. I am constantly learning new quilting techniques, taking classes wherever and whenever I can.
In 2002 I had the opportunity for a career change and bought a Gammill Classic long arm quilting machine. I took a class from Linda Taylor of Linda’s Electric Quilting and have not stopped since.
I have quilted everything from small wallhangings to king size quilts with designs ranging from traditional to contemporary. Come visit me to discuss your quilting options. I have pantograph patterns, tools or will create a custom design especially for your quilt. You may come with a quilt design in mind or you may give me artistic license. My long arm quilting machine is not computer assisted. Therefore there are small variations in the stitching. I will sometimes even lengthen the quilt stitch to give the top a more hand quilted look.
