MXC400 2002

How I got the bike:

Bought with working brake light (rear activated only) and headlight (single power). Turn signals, dual beam switch, horn added.

Doing this over, I would get a horn that runs on AC. It doesn't run very well on AC.

... After breaking two of the above in one crash (front left, rear right !!) in Arkansas, replaced with cheaper ones:

Front signal bracket: (or look at KTM parts fiche for 06 or so 525EXC speedo or make your own). Pretty easy to make your own out of aluminum bar stock.

Flasher unit: auto parts store. Works fine on AC. It is the cheap ($2) type that works by a resistive metal heating and cooling to open and close the contacts. The more expensive flashers rely on IC's so I doubt that they would work with AC.

May need to shave some switch plastic or clutch rubber boot to fit with Magura hydraulic clutch.
All the devices work on AC (except the horn, which works but not well).
