Frederick C. Patterson
was born in Michigan in 1815. He married Lydia Baldwin around
1838. Lydia was born in 1820 to Permelia (Potter)
and Benedict Baldwin. The couple had several children including an unnamed son (Oct 1841-Mar 1842) Amelia Patterson (born about 1842), Dorcas Patterson (born about 1846),
Helen Edith Patterson (wife of Frank Grosvenor Everett) and a son named George Alton Patterson.
The family lived in Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. Fred died in 1895 and Lydia died in 1908 in Iowa.
George Alton Patterson
was born in 1850 and died in 1943. He married Lova Elizabeth Johnson in 1873. Lova
was born in 1854 to Jane (Scott) and Harvey Johnson. Lova died in 1920. George and
Lova had 4 children. They divorced and George married Mary around 1896. George and Mary did not have any children and lived in Linn County, Iowa. Mary died in 1939.

Newton Patterson died at around 2 years of age in the late 1870s.
Frank Patterson was born in 1877 and died in 1943. He married Myrtle Page in 1898 and
had 2 children. Frank Elwin Patterson was born in 1899. He was married twice with two children. Dorcas Patterson was born in 1901 and died in 1998. She had a son, Robert Drexler, with her first husband. She was also married to Clyde Starbeck.
Minnie Jane Patterson was born in 1880. She married Spencer Magee and died in 1907 shortly after the birth of
their daughter, Minnie Jane Magee (1907-1990; wife of Donald Pfaltzgraff).
Lenna Mae Patterson was born in 1887. Lenna married Arthur Schrack around 1907. They had one daughter,
Nelle Genevieve Schrack who was born in 1908 and died in 2001. She married Walter John Opperman.
