Monday: Please carefully meditate upon Ephesians 6:10-20. Based upon these verses, and also yesterday’s sermon, what does your Heavenly Father want you to understand concerning "Spiritual Warfare"? What weapons has He given you to battle the powers of darkness? How can you actively engage in spiritual warfare today? Tuesday: Please carefully meditate upon Luke 4:1-14. Based upon these verses, and also yesterday’s sermon, what does your Heavenly Father want you to understand concerning "Spiritual Warfare"? How will His Word help you battle the powers of darkness? How can you actively engage in spiritual warfare today? Wednesday: Each week I (Pastor John) want to remind you of our Lord’s desire for each of us to pray and praise together as a church family. (What a great way to honor and show love to your brothers and sisters here at CCC.) So, read and carefully reflect upon these verses from the Book of Acts: They all joined together constantly in prayer…devoted themselves…to prayer…they raised their voices together in prayer to God...but the church was earnestly praying to God...many people had gathered and were praying. (Acts 1:14, 2:42, 4:23-24, 12:5, 12:12). Now please spend time asking the Lord Jesus Christ to give you the wisdom, and desire to gather together with, and pray with, your church family! Thursday: In 2 Corinthians 10 we read For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God. Based upon these verses, and also last Sunday’s sermon, how can you actively engage in spiritual warfare today? How can you destroy the strongholds of your enemy? How can you destroy their lies? Friday: Please carefully meditate upon Zechariah 3:1-5. Based upon these verses, and also last Sunday’s sermon, what does your Heavenly Father want you to understand concerning "Spiritual Warfare"? What tactics does the enemy use to discourage and hinder you? How does your Lord want you to engage in spiritual warfare today? Saturday: Please carefully meditate upon 1 John 4:3-4. Based upon these verses, what does your Heavenly Father want you to understand concerning the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit, (remember, Jesus Christ lives with you!)? How does this verse give you hope for the battle? |
