In front of my home - a couple of
weeks after
purchase.
Fourth Owner (a.k.a. ME!)
I bought the car in September of 2000 and drove from Las Vegas
back to Kansas City. The purchase process is detailed in the Camaro
History: Introduction section
I plan to complete the mini-restoration on this car with some 'fun
factor' built in. I'm not totally satisfied with the paint, but
it will have to stay - too costly for too little improvement. The paint quality could win
local shows (hopefully), but not at the
national level. All the better anyway - I plan to drive &
enjoy this car anyway - less worries. As of 06/10/2002, the car
has 50,524 miles.
No permanent changes will be made that can't be easily undone. All
modifications are "bolt-on" and will not compromise the
originality of the car itself. Its a challenge and sometimes requires
some self-restraint, but this car has lasted too many years to be
heavily modified now. Besides, that's my excuse to buy another '68
that I can heavily modify!
