First Owner

This is a mystery. I do know it was owned by a woman and sold it in 1976 around the Southern LA/Ventura area of California. At that time, the car had approximately 26,000 original miles.

I've begun research with the California DMV. While I've only spent a little bit of time on this, its been slow. First, its difficult to spend hours on the phone chasing ghosts and still keep your job. Second, there is a lot of 'procedure' to follow - I guess to prove I'm not a nutball or stalker or whatever. I've been sent to the main archives in Sacramento and need to file paperwork. I haven't followed up from there. This will be a job for my wife. Shhhhh....  I haven't told her yet.
