Engine

On the trip home I lost a rear main seal and lost most of my oil on the highway. I did manage to get to a gas station, but I think that contributed to flat spotting the cam a few hundred miles later. While drivable, it was very noisy and low performance. I pulled the engine to have it rebuilt which lead to a mechanical restoration. The engine still had the the original internal GM parts (bearings were GM date stamped) - validating the claims of the previous owners. All parts were saved. I decided to bring it back as a numbers match SS350 engine, since the 1968 327 and SS350 are the same block casting numbers.
