He landed in Salem in 1628 or 1629, perhaps by the Abigail or the George & very soon thereafter went on to Charlestown as one of its first settlers. After a year or two he went on to become one of the first settlers of Dorchester, Mass. He was one of two appointed to see to the fences. Sometime in 1634 or 1635 he moved to Scituate, Mass. After Scituate, he went to Windsor, Ct. in 1639. He was a deacon in Windsor. By 1649 he had moved to Fairfield, Ct. and before his death he moved to Stamford, Ct. Death date Stamford Vital Records.
