MEN OF THE SEA

RALPH PARKER 
    He appears to have been wholly engaged in marine affairs, sending out vessels and sometimes going himself to sea.  He was a master mariner & merchant.  From Persons of Quality Original Lists we discover he commanded a ketch named William & Susan.  His daughter, Mehitable Parker, married William Pendall.  In 1661 in New London, Ct. he was a joint owner of the ship "New London Tryall".

WILLIAM PENDALL   
    Was a shipwright & mariner. 

ISAAC STEDMAN
    Was owner of the ship, Elizabeth, which transported his family to Mass. Colony.

WILLIAM KEENEY
    Was a ship owner.  Between 1660 & 1664 in New London, Ct. the ship "Hopewell" was built for him.
