Note by Pat Woestman:
"Application for Appointment of a Guardian for a Minor" was filed in Camden Cy, Camdenton, Mo. There is no date given on the document but I am presuming that it is l903 as Martha Jane Lain Hill died in l903 according to the History of Morgan County. The application is signed by John W. Hill. A Petition for Refusal of Administration for Insufficient of Property was also filed in Camden County by Christiann Hill stating that she is the widow of John W. Hill. The Application states that John W. Hill died April l2, l9l4 and left a family of 5. We know that Eulah died in childhood and that Lelah D. (Laurie) Hill was married in l903. That would leave the other 4 children plus Widow Christiann. At this point I do not know if this document pertains to the right John W. Hill.

Third document "Memorandum of Taxes Due" No. 840-Class l2, does not give a date. It refers to "80 Acres, El/4 Lots l & 2 NE Sec. Lot 5 Twp.
