Allen Hill 11 Al. l839It is believed that Russel, Eli & John are brothers that are living with her & also grandsons of Willoughby Bolen. Who their Father is, I have no idea. Wiloby, Rufinda & Allen Hill are her nephews & niece, children of John & Elizabeth Bolin Hill. John Hill died l846 in Stoddard Co., Mo. Elizabeth Bolin Hill is sister to Ada & also probably died somewhere between l846 & l850.
(Speculation by Bernadine Teague: Perhaps Russel, Eli & John Bolen were children of John Boland found on the 1846 tax list but not in the l850 census)

RLDS PAF CD Disk files have him as the son of Isaac Summers as well as the son of Jeremiah Summers. If he were the son of Jeremiah, his birth would have been before their marriage which is highly unlikely so I have placed him as the son of Isaac. He also would have been ll years old when he married if he was conceived after the marriage of Jeremiah & Elizabeth Baker Summers.
PIONEERS OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI, places his Father as Isaac. It also states that he died in a boiler explosion at Vader's Mill southwest of Macon, Mo., Friday, Jan. 12, 1872. Four others were killed & three were injured.
