Hello Buckeye Elementary classmates from long ago:

 A 1950's/1960's REUNION for all those who attended Buckeye during those years, as well as their spouses or friends, will be held on Saturday, June 10, this year (2006) at the Shingle Springs Community Center. The reunion will start promptly at 1 pm, with scheduled events planned -  and lots of time for socializing and getting re-acquainted with all our old Buckeye "family".   The festivities will last all afternoon, with a Bar-B-Q supper provided at the community center. That night we will have an old "Teen Time Dance" to those old songs from yesteryear.

 The class of 1956 (David Teague, Charles Shinn, Louie Smith, Francine Partin McAdow, Linda Wandell Brown, and Frances Ward Shenefield) will be hosting the event and have rented the Community Center. The other expenses, including food, will be covered by the funds received from the alumni attending the reunion.

Please fill out the enclosed questionnaire/registration form and return it to us, even if you will not be able to attend.  If you prefer, send us an email, (see website info below) and we’ll send you an electronic copy.  Start collecting all those memories (funniest, fondest, etc.) to share with the rest of us.  We’d also like to have, ahead of time, electronic or paper copies of pictures, school mementos, etc., if you have them, to arrange and display at the reunion.

We hope that you can join us, and if you think you can, please let us know, so that we can get an idea of numbers.  We’d like to have your registration, and money to help pay for expenses, by May 1. 

To register to attend the reunion, please fill out bottom of the questionnaire/registration form and send $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple.
